Who is Monica?

I have been running a private practice in holistic disciplines for many years: Shiatzu, Astrology and Meditation into Sound. These different disciplines have in common the fact to have a map at their basis: the meridians, the astral chart, the circle of fifths.

This personal attitude to work with diagrams brought me in 2007 to approach the integral vision of the American philosopher Ken Wilber, and particularly with the four quadrants map he use to cast light on the fundamental unity of the principal streams of human knowledge.

Beginning to practice and assimilating the tenets of Integral Vision was a turning point for my personal and professional growth. To broaden my world vision made me less conflictual and fragmented, more effective and incisive while acquiring a method that permitted me to reunite in a whole the different holistic practices I was developing.

This led me to create a school of Integral philosophy, Hamsa Integral Academy, where for more than ten years Integral Counselors have been trained. Now the school has transformed into a primarily online school geared toward a broader audience interested in applying Integral methodology to a wide variety of areas from education, to community project creation, to economics, ecology, sustainability and more.

Courses cover different types from the more informative to the more complex and in-depth. The goal is to spread the integral vision as much as possible in every area with courses for all types of people and needs, in the belief that this way of integrating perspectives and knowledge can make an important contribution to the fragmentation and polarization we see in every area of our lives and society.
